  • Cuv ée des MoinesMUSCAT DE BEAUMES DE VENISE

    Soils type: clay-limestone.
    Grapes variety: muscat small berries.
    Wine making process: clay-chalk hearth the grapes are hand harvested and pressed on their arrival at the cave. Temperatures controlled 'Mutage'. Addition of alcohol to stop the alcoholic Fermentation. This allows the wine to keep a small quantity of its residual sugar, giving the vine its sweet taste.
    Ageing process: in tank.

    Appearance: golden robe with amber gleam.
    Nose: crystallised fruits – candied fruits, orange peel, dried apricot.
    On the palate: subtle but crisp with a complex fruity finish as above. Beautiful ample – full and rounded.

    Serving temperature: in between 7 and 9°

    Aging capacity: Can be drunk up to 5 years.

    «Cuvée des Moines» from the Château Saint Sauveur d'Aubignan is a subtle, bright wine with a bursting fruity accent. It is an excellent aperitif. It also stands up well to spicy food and is delicious with Roquefort and other blue cheese and also with fruit or dessert.

    Soils type: sandy, clay-chalk, stoney hearth.
    Grapes variety: grenache, syrah.
    Wine making process: Traditional red. Temperatures controlled. Long maceration.
    Ageing process: 12 month in vats.

    Appearance: frank-red robe, intense, deep - full.
    Nose: red berries – spices.
    On the palate: red berries, subtly woody, generous and well-structured.

    Serving temperature: 17°

    Aging capacity: Can be drunk up to 8 years.

    This «Cru des Côtes du Rhône» from the Château Saint Sauveur d'Aubignan is a deep and intense wine best enjoyed with savory dishes, red meat and cheese.

    Soils type: sandy, clay-chalk, stoney hearth.
    Grapes variety: grenache, syrah, cinsault, carignan.
    Wine making process: Traditional red. Temperatures controlled. Long maceration.
    Ageing process: in vats and in barrels.

    Appearance: rfrank – clean red, brown gleam when mature.
    Nose: red fruits, Morello cherries, black olives, a hint of licorice, menthol.
    On the palate: red fruits, light peppery and tobacco notes, generous, well-built wine.

    Serving temperature: 14°

    Aging capacity: Can be drunk up to 4 years.

    «La cuvée de l'Astéroïde» from the Château Saint Sauveur d'Aubignan is a concentrated wine with fruity and liquorice aromas. Well suited to a very wide variety of foods. It matches particularly well with red meat and cheese.

    Soils type: sandy, clay-chalk, stoney hearth.
    Grapes variety: grenache blanc, clairette.
    Wine making process: wine is put in oak barrels with 'batonnage' - stirring of the lees in the barrel. Temperatures controlled.
    Ageing process: in tank.

    Appearance: frank – clean yellow.
    Nose: complex bouquet of white flowers, vanilla and woody accents.
    On the palate: elegant, balanced and well rounded.
